Show regulations

Exhibitors undertake to observe these regulations. Only breeds recognised or provisionally recognised by FCI can be entered, as well as breeds recognized nationally in Denmark and are pedigree registered by Dansk Kennel Klub. In the latter case the breeds must be found in a special section in the show catalogue under the heading “breeds not recognised by FCI”.

All dogs must be registered in a kennel organisations approved by FCI.

All dogs are shown at the exhibitor’s own account and risk. The organizer cannot be held liable for damages caused by dogs or exhibitors.

Veterinary rules / Vaccinations

All dogs that take part in DKK arrangements (including shows) must be vaccinated against DHP: Distemper, Parvo virus and infectious Hepatitis.

The following documentation must be presented:

• For puppies under the age of 12 weeks, the vaccination must be minimum 7 days and no more than 5 weeks old (valid for dogs taking part in arrangement immediately after having attained the age of 12 weeks).
• For puppies/juniors vaccinated at 12 weeks or later, the vaccination is valid until the dog attains the age of 1 year.
• For dogs vaccinated after the age of 6 months, the vaccination is valid for 3 years.
  • At the first vaccination or if the vaccination has been expired, the vaccination must be at least 7 days old.
• As an alternative to a vaccination certificate, a positive antibody titer test for distemper, parvo virus and hepatitis is approved. The antibody titer test must be performed after the dog has attained the age of 6 months. A positive antibody titer test is valid for 3 years after the blood sample was taken.

Foreign dogs must moreover be able to document vaccination against rabies according to the Danish legislation in force at the time in question:https://en.foedevarestyrelsen.dk/animals/travelling-with-pet-animals
